About Joomla

You have probably noticed that Joomla! is mentioned a lot around this site. What is it?

Joomla is a content management system (CMS). It allows customers (like yourself), to update your website on your own schedule, in a Microsoft Word-like interface. If you'd like to see a demo of the Administrator area, please see below. We run Joomla 1.5, the most current version of the Joomla software that is much acclaimed as the best CMS software out there.

Joomla is also an open source application licensed under the GPL (General Public License) found at www.gnu.org. What does this mean to you? We don't have to pay to use Joomla, so neither do you!

Components/Extensions

One of the best things we at TheXCubed like about Joomla is it's wonderful user base, who create extensions that enhance the core functions of Joomla to provide such functions as e-commerce and document management.
